Pardon my tardiness, but I needed time & space after our food coma, the shopping & the working at the part-time retail store to post anything. How wonderful was our Thanksgiving this year. This was our first time preparing a holiday feast in our new home. It was perfect. From the jazz, the wine, the FOOD to the amazing company. Board games & weird conversations were involved at the end of the night & debates formed after playing a game where we couldn't decide if the Arctic Sea was real or not. I cherish these little moments so much.
The following day I had to work for Black Friday, but the exhaustion was not going to hold me back from going to the opening of the ice skating rink & movie night at Discovery Green. We watched the 1947 classic, It's a Wonderful Life. Perfect to get us into the Christmas spirit. We were cold, cried & laughed. It was absolutely worth it. I LOVE looking at parents & little babies skate. My heart was all kinds of melted. If you're near Houston, check out Discovery Green's upcoming events here.
Every day I am thankful for those I love so much & are my little family. I hope everyone had a wonderful & stuffed Thanksgiving!!
